We will gather between 7:00 and 7:30 AM in the parking lot of South Middleton Community Park at 534 Park Drive, Boiling Springs. An earlier arrival MIGHT provide additional migrating warbler species!

This meeting is free and open to the public.

A room number for the meeting will be posted in the lobby area just inside the front door.

Social Time at 7:00 PM

A brief business meeting will start at 7:30 and be followed by the program, “A Falcon Watch Scrapbook” - presented by Sue Hannon of Harrisburg’s Falcon Watch and Rescue

This will be a 5-mile loop hike using the Anthill, Abigail, and Orchards trails. The first 2 trails named have ascents and descents, and they have rocks, tree roots, and other obstacles across the trails. We will be looking for birds infiltrating into the newly opened areas produced by the recent rescue logging. There are also new views and overlooks. In case of inclement weather, please contact Scott Wood for confirmation of the walk.

Our Annual SMAS Picnic will be held at Pavilion #1, Oakside Park in Biglerville - Route 394 - 2880 Table Rock Road. We will begin at 4 PM with a social hour, followed by a covered dish meal at 5 PM, and a possible short bird walk after the meal.
